Wilma Hansen School Parent Council/Association
Hi Wilma Hansen Families!
We hope you will consider joining us at our upcoming Council/Association Meetings May 20th at 7pm - snacks are provided.
We are also looking to fill some key roles into the fall. Please see the infographic for some details; these roles require only a few hours of time each month and are essential to our ability to continue to hold Casinos and support our staff and students.
Contact Jayne at wilmachair@gmail.com if you have any questions!
2026-2027 Bus Registration
Families are now able to apply for yellow school bus service for the 2026-27 school year. Service levels and fees are outlined below. Registration is available through your MyCBE account. (If you do not already have an account, learn how.)
Families must apply by Sunday, June 14, 2026 for students to be added to routes for the start of the next school year. We continue to accept registrations after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing bus stop with available space. Processing times for registrations submitted after the June 14 deadline will be delayed. It may take until mid-October before your child is able to ride the bus.
Confirmed routes will be posted in MyCBE in August.
Attendance
We would like to remind families to please report student absences using the school’s designated attendance line/extension, 403-777-7430 Ext 0. Messages left on the main school voicemail/email are not checked as frequently throughout the day, which may result in delays in recording your child’s absence.
Please make sure to spell the student’s last name and include the date of the absence in the message.
Alternatively, you can email Mrs. Crane in the main office at: decranemctaggart@cbe.ab.ca.
